While DeMarco’s participation may have been a cherished postgame memory, the pregame highlight was seeing the “Faces of the Washington Franchises” together, Ryan Zimmerman and Frank Howard, as we said goodbye to RFK. The autographed photo of the two men with whom I began and ended the Opening Day streak is on proud display in our basement Fan Cave.
